Nugar

Nugar is a coastal town in the fictional country of Valara. It lies along the northern shore of Lake Serin and serves as the administrative center of its rural district. As of 2023, it had an estimated population of about 12,500.

The name Nugar is thought to derive from an old Valaran term meaning wind harbor, reflecting the town’s exposure to steady sea breezes and its historic role as a shelter for fishing boats.

Geographically, Nugar is marked by a small natural harbor, a rocky shoreline, and low hills inland. The climate is temperate maritime, with mild winters, cool summers, and rainfall distributed throughout the year.
