Nuell is a town and municipality in the fictional nation of Eldara. It lies along the Nuell River in the Northern Plains, about 60 kilometers from the national capital. The area has a temperate climate with mild summers and cool winters.

Etymology and name origin: The name Nuell is believed to derive from an old language once spoken in the region, possibly meaning "river bend" or "new settlement." Local oral tradition attributes the name to early settlers who established a riverside community.

History: Nuell was established in the 12th century as a trading post and grew around river commerce. It came under several regional rulers before becoming part of the Eldaran confederation. A stone bridge built in the 18th century remains a historic landmark and a reminder of the town’s river-based economy.
