Northuldra

Northuldra is a fictional indigenous people who live in the Enchanted Forest in Disney's animated film *Frozen II*. They are depicted as a nomadic culture with a deep connection to nature and the spirits of the forest. The Northuldra are characterized by their unique clothing, often featuring earthy tones and intricate designs, and their use of reindeer as mounts and companions.

Historically, the Northuldra shared a close relationship with the Arendellians. However, a conflict arose between the two groups, leading to the dam being built by King Runeard, Arendelle's founder, and a subsequent rift that separated them for generations. The Northuldra were confined to the Enchanted Forest, their lands and traditions suppressed by the Arendellians.

In *Frozen II*, Elsa and Anna discover the truth about the past and the role their own family played in the conflict. Elsa, possessing a connection to the spirits of nature, is able to bridge the gap between the two cultures. She learns that she herself is part Northuldra, a revelation that explains her magical abilities. Ultimately, the Northuldra are freed from their isolation and begin to forge a new, peaceful coexistence with Arendelle, with Elsa acting as a bridge between the two worlds.
