Disneys is a surname associated with an American family best known for founding The Walt Disney Company. The name is most strongly linked to Walt Disney (1901–1966) and Roy O. Disney (1902–1971), who established a small animation studio in Los Angeles after forming Disney Brothers Studio in 1923. The company evolved into Walt Disney Productions in 1929 and later reorganized as The Walt Disney Company in 1986, growing into a multinational entertainment conglomerate with divisions in animation, film, television, and theme parks.

The Disneys helped create a global entertainment empire known for character-driven animation and pioneering themed experiences.
