Elsa

Elsa is a female given name used in many European languages. It is commonly a shortened form of Elisabeth or Elizabeth, but it has also existed independently as a given name in Nordic and German-speaking regions. The name derives from the Hebrew Elisheba, meaning “God is my oath” or “God is plenty” depending on transliteration.
