Nontourists
Nontourists is a term used in sociological and tourism research to describe people whose travel activities fall outside conventional leisure tourism patterns. Broadly defined, nontourists include residents traveling temporarily for work, study, or personal reasons; long-term entrants such as expatriates, international students, and migrant workers; and travelers whose motives are not primarily recreation, such as researchers, journalists, aid workers, or business travelers who do not engage in typical tourist activities.
