Nonmarked
Nonmarked is an adjective meaning not marked or lacking distinguishing signs, labels, or features. The term is formed from the prefix non- plus marked, and while understandable, it is not widely used as a technical term in most disciplines. More common is the word unmarked, which serves the same general idea. When nonmarked is used, it tends to emphasize the absence of signaling relative to a contrasting marked form, or it appears in general prose rather than formal terminology.
In linguistics and semiotics, unmarked forms are standard; nonmarked is sometimes employed to discuss theoretical contrasts
In biology and related sciences, nonmarked or unlabeled samples are used as controls when tracking features
In information science and data management, nonmarked data may refer to records that have not been labeled
