Nonboastfulness

Nonboastfulness is a character trait characterized by a reluctance to call attention to one's own achievements, possessions, or qualities. It is the opposite of boasting, which involves excessive pride and self-praise. Individuals who exhibit nonboastfulness tend to be modest and may downplay their accomplishments, preferring to let their actions speak for themselves. The concept of nonboastfulness is recognized across various cultures and philosophical traditions as a virtue.
