Nonautomatabased

Nonautomatabased refers to systems, theories, or approaches that do not rely on automata theory for their design or explanation. Automata theory, a field of theoretical computer science and mathematical logic, studies abstract machines and the computational problems that can be solved by them. These abstract machines, known as automata, are models of computation used to understand the capabilities and limitations of different computing devices.

Systems that are nonautomatabased might, therefore, operate on different fundamental principles. This could include approaches rooted in other areas of mathematics, logic, or computer science.
