Nokkakomitea

Nokkakomitea was a Finnish Communist Party committee that focused on internal security and the defense of the Soviet Union during the Cold War era. The name "Nokkakomitea" translates to "nose committee" in English, implying the group's goal of sniffing out potential threats to Soviet interests.

Established in 1957, the committee was formed to counter the perceived threat of Finnish nationalism and revisionism. Its primary objectives were to identify and monitor potential security risks within the Finnish government and society, as well as to coordinate efforts to prevent the spread of anti-Soviet sentiment.
