Neuses
Neuses, also known as the Neuse River, is a significant river in the eastern United States, primarily flowing through the states of North Carolina and Virginia. It is a tributary of the Albemarle Sound, which is part of the Chesapeake Bay. The Neuse River originates in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and flows generally southeastward, passing through the cities of Kinston and Goldsboro before emptying into the Albemarle Sound near the town of Bayboro.
The river is approximately 230 miles long and has a drainage basin covering about 5,200 square miles.
