Neuromorphism

Neuromorphism is a field of artificial intelligence and computer engineering that seeks to mimic the structure and function of biological neural networks. The core idea is to create computing systems that operate more like the human brain, processing information in parallel and in an analog fashion, rather than the serial, digital processing typical of conventional computers.

Neuromorphic systems are characterized by their use of artificial neurons and synapses.
