Nemuros

Nemurus is a genus of spider that belongs to the family Sparassidae. It is a type of huntsman spider that is found in Australia and New Guinea. The genus was first described by Simon in 1903 and currently consists of four recognized species.

Nemurus spiders are characterized by their large size and long legs, which enable them to move rapidly and cover large distances. They are also known for their impressive speed, with some species able to move at speeds of up to 1.4 meters per second. These spiders are primarily diurnal and are active during the day, although they may also be active at night.
