Nehmotnými

Nehmotnými is a Czech term that translates to "intangible" in English. It refers to things that lack a physical form or substance, cannot be touched, seen, or physically possessed. This concept is often contrasted with "hmotnými," which means tangible or material.

In a legal and economic context, nehmotnými assets represent rights, values, or benefits that have economic worth but no physical presence. Examples include intellectual property such as patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets. Software, brand reputation, goodwill, and customer lists are also considered nehmotnými assets. Unlike tangible assets like buildings or machinery, these intangible items are not depreciated in the same way, but their value can be amortized over time.
