Navira

Navira is a coastal city and municipality located on the eastern coast of the fictional nation of Ardentia. The city sits at the mouth of the Navira River, facing the Bay of Lumen. As of 2022, Navira has about 28,000 residents and covers 52 square kilometers. The local economy centers on a working port that handles fishing vessels, bulk and container cargo, and serves as a logistics hub for nearby inland towns. Tourism is secondary, focused on the riverfront and local markets.

History: The site began as a fishing hamlet in the 12th century. It developed into a regional trading center in the 19th century with the arrival of the railway and improvements to harbor facilities. The town preserved historic wharves and expanded with new industrial zones.

Geography and climate: Navira has a temperate climate with year-round maritime influence. The delta provides wetlands that support birdlife; the surrounding landscape combines estuaries with low hills.

Governance: Navira maintains municipal governance, with a mayor and city council. It forms part of Ardentia's coastal prefecture, coordinating with regional authorities on infrastructure and planning.

Transportation: The port features a shallow-draft quay for regional shipping, plus a rail link to inland markets and a network of highways connecting to neighboring municipalities.
