Naulansyöksyt

Naulansyöksyt, a Finnish term, translates to "nail swallowing" and refers to a phenomenon observed in some birds, particularly corvids, where they ingest nails or other sharp metal objects. This behavior is not fully understood by ornithologists and is often considered unusual.

The primary species associated with naulansyöksyt are rooks and jackdaws. These intelligent birds are known for their inquisitive nature and their tendency to investigate and sometimes consume a variety of objects found in their environment.
