Narsarsuaq
Narsarsuaq is a settlement in southern Greenland, located on the eastern bank of the Tunulliarfik Fjord. Historically, it was the site of a Norse settlement named Brattahlíð, established by Erik the Red. During World War II, it became a crucial American airbase, known as Bluie West One, serving as a transatlantic air ferry route. The remnants of the airbase, including a runway, are still visible.
