Narav

Narav is a sovereign state in the eastern part of the continent of Asteria. It covers roughly 200,000 square kilometers and includes coastal plains, river valleys, and the Narav Highlands. The population is about 4.5 million. The capital and largest city is Virel; major urban centers include Lomar and Sari.

The Narav River traverses the central plain, and the climate ranges from temperate coastal to alpine in the highlands. Natural resources include arable land, timber, and minerals such as copper and tin.

The economy is diversified, including agriculture (cereals and fruit), light manufacturing, and services. Narav participates in regional trade agreements and maintains a market-oriented policy. The currency is the Naravian crown.

The population is multilingual, with Naravish as the dominant language. Minority languages include Elarin and Kestari. Religion is diverse, with secular urban culture common. Literacy is high.

The country emphasizes renewable energy, especially hydropower and wind. The road and rail network connects major cities, and protected areas preserve biodiversity.
