Nanolithografische refers to nanolithography, a field of science and technology concerned with the creation of patterns with nanoscale dimensions. This process involves the use of specialized tools and techniques to transfer a design onto a substrate at a scale of nanometers, which are billionths of a meter. Nanolithography is crucial for the fabrication of microelectronic devices, such as integrated circuits, where features need to be incredibly small to enable higher performance and density.

There are several types of nanolithography, each with its own principles and applications. Photolithography, a widely used method, employs light to transfer a pattern from a mask to a light-sensitive material called a photoresist. Electron beam lithography (EBL) uses a focused beam of electrons to draw patterns directly onto the resist, offering very high resolution but at a slower speed. Another technique, nanoimprint lithography (NIL), involves mechanically pressing a patterned mold into a resist material to create the desired structure.
