It sits on a broad plain near the Dobrava River, about 60 kilometers from the regional capital, Lirhaven. The municipality covers roughly 48 square kilometers and includes the central village of Najwaniejsz and several small hamlets. The population is about 1,200 residents.

Etymology: The name Najwaniejsz is of Slavic origin. The element naj- is a superlative prefix found in several toponyms, while the suffix -iejsz is a historic locality-ending. Earliest attestations appear in 14th-century charters as Najwaniejesz, suggesting a long-standing boundary or settlement marker.

History: The settlement is first mentioned in medieval records. It lay under local lordships within the Bracken region and experienced the upheavals of the early modern era. A brick parish church was constructed in the late 17th century, and the 19th century saw gradual agricultural reforms and population growth.

Economy and culture: Najwaniejsz relies on agriculture—grain, potatoes, and dairy—as well as small-scale forestry and crafts. A nearby forest preserves local biodiversity. The community hosts an annual harvest festival, a church holiday, and regular craft markets that draw visitors from neighboring areas.

Governance and infrastructure: The municipality is headed by a mayor and a five-member council and is part of the Zorya regional administration. It is connected by regional roads; there is no railway station in Najwaniejsz, with the nearest rail link in the town of Grodzisko, about 25 kilometers away.
