NTC

NTC is an acronym that can refer to several organizations and technologies. Among the most common meanings are the National Telecommunications Commission, the government regulator of telecommunications and broadcasting in the Philippines, and the negative temperature coefficient thermistor, an electronic component whose resistance decreases as temperature rises.

National Telecommunications Commission (Philippines): The NTC licenses and regulates radio stations, television broadcasters, and telecommunications service providers; manages the radio frequency spectrum; and enforces regulatory rules and consumer protections. It oversees market entrants, assigns spectrum, monitors compliance, and administers related fees and policies to promote reliable communications and fair competition.

NTC thermistor: A negative temperature coefficient thermistor is a resistor whose resistance decreases with increasing temperature. Commonly made from metal oxide ceramics, these devices are used for temperature sensing, thermal protection, and inrush current limiting in power supplies and consumer electronics. They are specified by resistance at a reference temperature and by their temperature coefficient and power rating.

National Training Center: A generic term for centralized training facilities used by government, military, or educational organizations. In the United States, the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California, is a major military facility that hosts large-scale, realistic exercises and simulations. The term may also denote similar centers in other sectors.
