Münichen is a town and municipality in the fictional region of Northmark, in the country of Elaria. It sits in the Sola River valley, surrounded by deciduous forests and gentle hills. The name is believed to derive from Old High German elements meaning monk and settlement, reflecting its historical origin around a religious community.

Historically, Münichen formed around a Benedictine monastery founded in the 11th century.
