Mögestress

Mögestress is a neologism derived from the German word "Möge" meaning "may" or "let it be" and "stress". It describes a state of mental fatigue or overwhelm caused by the constant need to manage and process a multitude of possibilities, potential outcomes, or choices, especially in situations where the outcome is uncertain or beyond one's direct control.

The concept of mögestress often arises in contexts where individuals feel pressure to consider every conceivable "what if" scenario.
