Muroma
Muroma, or Muromians, were a Finno-Ugric-speaking population that inhabited the region around the Oka River in what is now central Russia, with the town of Murom as a historical center. Their homeland lies in the forest-steppe area of present-day Vladimir Oblast, and their territory bordered other Volga Finnic and East Slavic groups.
