Multiethnic

Multiethnic describes a population, society, organization, or geographical area that includes or is composed of multiple ethnic groups. Ethnicity refers to social groups defined by shared ancestry, culture, language, religion, and customs. In a multiethnic setting, people from diverse ethnic backgrounds coexist and interact, often within a framework of laws and institutions designed to ensure equal rights and nondiscrimination.
