Mopriacertified is a certification mark used to indicate that a device, software, or service meets a defined set of interoperability and security criteria within the Mopria ecosystem. It is intended to help buyers identify products that will work smoothly with Mopria-enabled printing and mobile workflows.

The program is administered by the Mopria Certification Authority, associated with the Mopria Alliance. Certification criteria cover compatibility with Mopria Print Service and related mobile printing workflows, reliable device discovery on local networks, secure communications, and privacy considerations. Additional requirements address performance, reliability, and basic accessibility to ensure usable experiences across common platforms.

To obtain certification, vendors submit products for testing. A testing suite evaluates installation and setup from multiple platforms, printing and scanning tasks from Android and iOS devices, and compatibility with typical cloud and enterprise workflows. Security checks, update handling, and adherence to data-handling guidelines are also reviewed. If the product passes, it receives the Mopria-certified label for specific versions or configurations and may be subject to periodic re-testing on major updates.

Impact and usage of the label include helping consumers and IT buyers identify products that should interoperate with Mopria-enabled devices, potentially reducing support costs, speeding deployment, and encouraging adherence to shared standards.
