Monomnaki is a fictional creature that appears in the anime and manga series Danganronpa. It is an enigmatic, rabbit-like entity with a distinct black and white coloration and a single, large eye. Monomnaki serves as the secondary antagonist and guide in the game Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. It is a digital construct, created by the character Junko Enoshima.

Monomnaki's primary role is to oversee the "Killing Game" on Jabberwock Island, a virtual reality simulation designed to force the students trapped there to murder each other. It acts as the game master, explaining the rules, monitoring the students' progress, and occasionally interacting with them in a taunting or misleading manner. Monomnaki exhibits a split personality, alternating between a cheerful, almost childlike demeanor and a more sadistic, malicious one. This duality reflects its nature as a manifestation of Junko Enoshima's twisted sense of amusement.

The creature's name is a portmanteau of "mono" (meaning one, referencing its single eye) and "monokuma" (the primary antagonist from the first Danganronpa game, to whom Monomnaki is closely related). Monomnaki's appearance and behavior are designed to be unsettling and memorable, contributing to the overall dark and surreal atmosphere of the Danganronpa series. Its presence is a constant reminder of the despair and manipulation at the heart of the narrative.
