Monoblastien
Monoblastien, also known as monoblasts, are immature precursor cells belonging to the myeloid lineage of hematopoietic tissue. They arise from common myeloid progenitors in the bone marrow and represent the earliest recognizable stage in the development of monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. Morphologically, monoblastien are large cells with a high nuclear‑to‑cytoplasmic ratio, a round to oval nucleus, fine chromatin, and often one to three prominent nucleoli. The cytoplasm is basophilic, may contain azurophilic granules, and lacks the abundant vacuolation observed in more mature monocytes.
During normal hematopoiesis, monoblastien differentiate into promonocytes, which further mature into monocytes that enter the peripheral
Clinically, identification of monoblastien relies on cytomorphology and immunophenotyping; the cells typically express myeloid markers such
