Modelezés

Modelezés is a Hungarian term that translates to "modeling" or "sculpting" in English. It generally refers to the creation of three-dimensional objects through the manipulation of pliable materials. This can encompass a wide range of artistic and practical applications.

In an artistic context, modelezés involves shaping materials such as clay, wax, plaster, or even dough to form sculptures, figures, or decorative elements. Artists often use various tools, including their hands, to mold, carve, and refine the material until the desired form is achieved. This process can be additive, where material is built up, or subtractive, where material is removed.

Beyond fine arts, modelezés also has practical uses. In fields like product design and engineering, it is used to create prototypes and mock-ups of new products. In dentistry, specialized materials are modeled to create crowns, bridges, and other dental prosthetics.
