MiniFit
MiniFit is a family of electrical connectors manufactured by Molex, commonly referred to as Mini-Fit Jr. It is designed for power and signal interconnections in consumer electronics, automotive, and industrial equipment. The series uses a 4.2 mm pitch and supports multiple circuits in a single housing, enabling compact, high-current connections. Terminals are crimped and mate with female housings and male receptacles; many variants feature polarisation keys and optional locking latches to prevent mis-mating and to provide a secure connection. The system is modular, with a range of wire-to-wire, wire-to-board, and board-to-board configurations, available in various circuit counts from 2 up to 24 or more, depending on the housing. The contacts are designed to carry relatively high current per circuit for a compact connector, and the assembly is rated for repeated mating cycles.
