Metsähallitukseen

Metsähallitus is a Finnish state-owned enterprise responsible for the sustainable management of state-owned forests and other natural resources. It operates as a service enterprise, generating revenue through the responsible utilization of natural resources and investing it back into conservation, recreation, and research. Metsähallitus manages approximately 12 million hectares of land and water, which represents about one-third of Finland's surface area.

The organization's activities encompass forestry, hunting and fishing management, wilderness and national park services, and mineral resources. The organization is overseen by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and operates under Finnish law.
