Metallipigments
Metallipigments are pigments that incorporate metallic particles or metal salts into a stable matrix. The term originates from the combination of "metal" and "pigment" and refers to a class of functional pigments that combine color, reflectivity and metallic sheen. Metallipigments can contain single metals, metal oxides, alloys or complexed metal compounds. The choice of metal determines the hue, reflectivity and durability of the pigment.
