Menneskeliggjøring is a Norwegian term that translates to anthropomorphism in English. It refers to the attribution of human characteristics, emotions, and behaviors to non-human entities such as animals, inanimate objects, or abstract concepts. This is a common cognitive process that helps humans understand and interact with the world around them by relating unfamiliar things to familiar human experiences.
