Maserati S.p.A. is an Italian luxury automobile manufacturer founded in 1914 in Bologna by the Maserati brothers—Alfieri and his siblings. The company began as Officine Alfieri Maserati, building race cars and engines, and quickly established a reputation for performance and engineering innovation. The brand’s signature trident emblem, inspired by the statue of Neptune in Bologna’s Fountain of Neptune, symbolizes power and artistic flair.

Maserati’s road cars blend grand touring comfort with high performance. The current lineup includes the GranTurismo and GranCabrio grand tourers, the Quattroporte large sedan, the Ghibli executive sedan, and the Levante SUV. In addition, Maserati introduced the MC20, a mid‑engine supercar unveiled in 2020 featuring a carbon‑fiber chassis and a modern V6 engine, with an option for a V8 in higher-performance versions.
