MapForce

MapForce is a graphical data mapping tool developed by Altova. It is used to visually design data mappings and generate transformation code, enabling automated data conversion between diverse formats and structures. MapForce supports a range of data formats common in integration projects, including XML, JSON, relational databases, EDI (X12, EDIFACT), CSV and other flat-file formats, and Excel workbooks. It is typically employed in data integration, data exchange, and system modernization efforts.

The software features a drag-and-drop mapping interface, a library of transformation functions, and built-in validation and testing capabilities. Users can preview mapping results with sample data as they design transformations, helping ensure accuracy before deployment.
