Mandrilõiked
Mandrilõiked, often translated as "mandrel cuts" or "grooves," refers to a method of creating precisely shaped channels or indentations, typically within a cylindrical object. This technique is commonly employed in manufacturing and engineering to achieve specific functional or aesthetic purposes. Mandrilõiked are created by using a specialized tool called a mandrel, which is essentially a shaped rod or pin. The object to be grooved is placed onto or around the mandrel, and then either the object itself or the cutting tool is moved to remove material, forming the desired pattern.
The precise shape and depth of the mandrilõiked are determined by the geometry of the mandrel used.
