Magische

Magische is the inflected form of the adjective magisch in Dutch and German, meaning "magical" or "pertaining to magic." It is used to describe objects, phenomena, abilities, or beings associated with magic. In Dutch, magisch is the base form, and its attributive definite form is magische (for example: de magische krachten, het magische voorwerp). In German, magisch is the base form, and magische is the weak-declension form used after definite articles (die magische Blume, das magische Schwert, die magischen Kräfte).

Etymology: The adjective magisch and its cognates derive from the same root as English magic, from Latin

Usage: The term appears widely in folklore, fantasy literature, film, and games to label items and powers

In contemporary usage, magische is common in fantasy genres, role-playing games, and media naming conventions. See
