Lämmönsäteilijät

Lämmönsäteilijät, known in English as radiant heaters or heat emitters, are devices designed to transfer heat through thermal radiation. Unlike convection heaters that heat the air first, radiant heaters directly warm objects and surfaces within their line of sight. This direct heating method can create a more immediate sensation of warmth and is often preferred in spaces where air movement is undesirable or where rapid heating is needed.

The principle behind lämmönsäteilijät is the emission of infrared radiation. All objects with a temperature above absolute zero emit thermal radiation. Radiant heaters are specifically designed to maximize the emission of this infrared energy.
