Luci

Luci, commonly styled as LuCI (Lua Configuration Interface), is the web-based configuration interface for OpenWrt, an open-source firmware for routers and other embedded devices. LuCI provides a browser-based UI for configuring network settings, wireless, firewall rules, services, and system options. It is implemented in Lua and runs as part of the OpenWrt software stack, organized as modular applications that can be installed or removed through packages. The UI is served by the device’s web server and is typically accessible over a local network at addresses such as http://192.168.1.1. Installation and updates are performed via OpenWrt’s package manager, for example by installing the luci package. The interface supports themes, localization, and remote administration.
