Livvis

Livvis are a fictional species that originate from the planet Xylos. They are a sentient, bipedal race characterized by their iridescent scales and bioluminescent markings. These markings, which vary in color and pattern among individuals, serve as a form of communication, conveying emotions and social status. Livvis possess a natural affinity for crystalline structures, often building their settlements within or around large geological formations. Their society is organized into matriarchal clans, each led by an elder female known as the Lumina.

The Livvi diet consists primarily of mineral-rich flora and small subterranean fauna. They have a unique method of nutrient absorption, utilizing specialized pores on their skin in addition to their digestive system. Xylos experiences extreme temperature fluctuations, and Livvis have adapted to this by regulating their internal body temperature through controlled bioluminescence. When temperatures rise, their markings glow brighter, radiating heat; conversely, in colder conditions, their glow diminishes, conserving energy.
