Liukumisella

Liukumisella is a Finnish term that translates to "slippery slope" in English. The concept is often used in logical reasoning and debate to describe a situation where a small first step leads to a chain of related (or similar) events, and eventually to some significant (usually negative) event in the long run. The idea is that once you take the first step, it is difficult to stop the process from continuing, eventually leading to an extreme or unintended outcome.

The term is frequently used in political, ethical, and legal discussions. For example, in political debates, one might argue that a seemingly minor policy change could lead to a slippery slope of further changes, ultimately resulting in a significant alteration of the political landscape.
