Lineaarisyyden, in mathematics and physics, refers to a property of functions or systems where the output is directly proportional to the input. This means that if you double the input, the output also doubles, and if you halve the input, the output halves. More formally, a function f is linear if it satisfies two conditions: additivity and homogeneity. Additivity states that f(x + y) = f(x) + f(y) for all x and y in the domain of f.
