Lilys

Lilys may refer to lilies, the flowering plants of the genus Lilium, or to The Lilys, an American indie rock band formed in the 1990s.

Lilies are flowering plants in the genus Lilium, placed in the family Liliaceae (though some classifications place them in related families within the Asparagales). They are perennial, bulb-bearing herbs native to temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere, with the greatest species diversity in Asia. True lilies typically produce large, conspicuous flowers with six tepals and prominent anthers, and they come in colors such as white, yellow, orange, pink, and red. Leaves are usually long and lance-shaped, and many species are grown for their ornamental appeal. Two common cultivated groups are Asiatic lilies and Oriental lilies, which differ in fragrance, flower form, and hardiness. Lilies are widely grown in gardens and used as cut flowers.
