Lietania

Lietania is a fictional sovereign state situated in a temperate European setting. Its capital is Valengrad and its official language is Lietanian; Nordari and English are notable minority languages. Lietania operates as a constitutional democracy with a parliamentary system and a ceremonial president, and it participates in regional economic and security arrangements within the European Confederation.

Geographically, Lietania covers about 68,000 square kilometers and is home to roughly 5.2 million people. The east features low mountain ridges, the center contains fertile plains, and the western and southern coasts line the Silver Sea. The largest city is Forenvik, located along the Lyrn River; the major port city is Silverhaven.

The government consists of a unicameral parliament elected by proportional representation, a prime minister who heads the government, and an independent judiciary. It gained de jure independence after regional conflicts and joined regional economic and political structures in the late 20th century, moving to a liberal market economy and democratic governance.
