Liemikuutio
Liemikuutio, also known as the "liquid cube" or "liquid die," is a unique type of die used in tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) and other dice-based systems. Unlike traditional polyhedral dice, which are solid and have flat faces, a liemikuutio is a hollow, transparent cube filled with a colored liquid, typically water or a similar substance. The liquid inside creates a dynamic visual effect as it shifts and moves when the die is rolled, adding an element of unpredictability and aesthetic appeal.
The name "liemikuutio" originates from Finnish, where "liemi" means "broth" or "soup," and "kuutio" means "cube."
Liemikuutio dice are usually made of durable materials like acrylic or glass, ensuring they can withstand handling
Due to their novelty nature, liemikuutio dice are not widely used in competitive or rule-bound gaming contexts.
