Lexus

Lexus is the luxury vehicle division of Toyota Motor Corporation. Established in 1989, Lexus markets premium cars and sport-utility vehicles worldwide through a dedicated dealer network. The brand emphasizes craftsmanship, refined ride quality, and reliability, and positions itself as Toyota's premium offering in key markets.

Lexus' first flagship models were the LS 400 sedan and the LX SUV, introduced in North America in 1989 and 1995 respectively. In Japan, LS-branded vehicles carried the Celsior name. Since then, Lexus has expanded to a full lineup of sedans, coupes, and SUVs, with a focus on quiet interiors and advanced safety features.

The current lineup includes sedans such as the IS, ES, and LS; coupes and performance models like the RC and LC; and a broad SUV range that includes the UX, NX, RX, GX, and LX. The brand has pursued electrification by offering hybrid versions across many models and introducing dedicated electric models such as the RZ 450e. It also produced the LFA, a limited-run high-performance supercar, from 2010 to 2012.

Lexus operates globally through Toyota's platforms and suppliers, and is known for reliability and strong resale value in many markets. It emphasizes design, customer service, and safety technology as core elements of its strategy, and continues to expand electrified powertrains and driver-assistance features in line with broader industry trends.
