Lewykroppar
Lewykroppar, also known as Lewy bodies, are abnormal clumps of protein that develop inside nerve cells. The primary protein involved is alpha-synuclein, which normally exists in a soluble form within neurons. In Lewykroppar, this protein misfolds and aggregates, forming these dense, spherical inclusions.
