Leehom Wang, commonly known simply as Leehom, is a Taiwanese-American singer-songwriter, actor, and producer. Born on May 17, 1976, in Rochester, New York, he was raised in a multicultural environment and pursued music as a career in both the United States and Taiwan. He is widely regarded for blending Western pop genres such as R&B and hip hop with traditional Chinese musical elements, including melodic lines, classical poetry, and occasional traditional instruments. This East-meets-West approach has defined much of his work across Mandarin-language albums, with additional recordings in English and Cantonese.
