Latticediffer

Latticediffer is a term used to describe a class of discrete differential operators defined on lattice or grid structures. In mathematical and computational contexts, latticediffer denotes finite-difference operators that approximate derivatives along the directions permitted by the lattice, typically by combining values at neighboring lattice points. The concept aims to capture the idea of differentiating on a discrete spatial framework while respecting the underlying grid symmetry.
