Laadimisvõimsus refers to the power capacity available for charging devices. In the context of electric vehicles, it indicates the maximum rate at which a charging station can deliver electricity to the vehicle's battery. This is typically measured in kilowatts (kW). Higher laadimisvõimsus means faster charging times. For example, a 50 kW charging station will charge an electric vehicle significantly faster than a 7 kW one.

The laadimisvõimsus of a charging station is determined by the electrical infrastructure supporting it and the charging equipment itself. Different charging standards and connectors support varying levels of power. Home charging solutions, often using AC power, usually have lower laadimisvõimsus compared to public fast-charging stations that utilize DC power.
